My husband and I recently celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary in Puerto Rico. Skip was our personal tour guide for 3 days straight for all of our excursions and sightseeing. Our whole trip to PR was fantastic. Skip was a HUGE part of helping with that. We told him what we wanted to see and do and he put together a FANTASTIC and affordable package for us. He was also our personal photographer! We would have never been able to have the experience we did without finding and using Skip! My husband and I HIGHLY recommend Skip. Skip took my husband and I on a private tour through a side of El Yunque that is not as touristy and it was delightful! He was knowledgeable about the local wildlife, plants and culture but in a friendly conversational way. He provided binoculars and water and a sweet local snack. We swam in a secluded swimming hole and there was a swing for a prefect picture. Which we didn't have to take because he took them for us so we could enjoy the scenery. He suggested areas to visit and a restaurant nearby. After we followed him to lunch. His treat! We spent the rest of our day taking his advice on activities and it was perfect. Highly recommend. Absolutely worth the money.

Skip was an incredible tour guide! I gave him an idea of what we were looking for and surely delivered. We toured the rainforest one day, and did a food and culture tour the next. He even sent us off on an adventures snorkeling evening. I absolutely LOVED the rain forest. But the next day, Skip went above and beyond. We made random stops, we turned around when he saw a local vendor he knew I’d want to check out. It was incredible. Good food, good snacks, good juices, good frozen snacks. Thank you Skip for such a great time. We were blow away with your knowledge, ability to answer all of our questions, the laughs, the random conversations.

Our first time to Puerto Rico and spending the first day with Skip was the perfect way to start our vacation. Coffee and a bakery to start the day and then up the mountains we went. Skip stopped here and there to point out little details and share his vast knowledge. During our hike he pointed out birds, and talked in-depth about the flora of the island. We are plant nerds so this was great! He shared science and folklore. It is evident Skip has a passion for nature and sharing it with others comes natural. I would 100% recommend spending the day with Skip whether this be your first time to the island or your tenth.

The highlight of our trip was our tour with Skip! We learned so many new facts about El Yunque, swam beneath a waterfall, saw tons of animals and enjoyed a local meal. All without worrying about crowds and being one of many in a group. Our tour was completely tailored to us which you can’t really find anywhere else. Skip was great with kids and extremely accommodating to our last minute adjustment in people. He also takes great pictures too! If we ever find ourselves back in Puerto Rico, we will be booking Skip again!

Skip did an amazing job guiding us for two days of searching for endemic birds. My wife and I found many birds including 8 new species to add to our list. Skip is incredibly knowledgeable about the island and many other subjects besides birds. I highly recommend Skip for any tour you wish to do in Puerto Rico.

Skip was an unbelievable tour guide...a huge wealth of knowledge for my two very curious boys with lots of questions. He really knows about every plant, animal, thing in Puerto Rico. He is also super funny and kind and had wonderful recommendations. We saw beautiful waterfalls and hidden swimming holes we never would have found ourselves. This is all without even mentioning the gorgeous photos he took of our family at all stops - professional quality and a huge bonus. Plus we enjoyed a delicious local lunch together. Had a beach tour with Skip & it was awesome! Decided not to get a rental car since I traveled solo. Skip showed me some beautiful beaches including a black sand beach! We found coral and lots of sea glass! He is very knowledgeable about the island and the wildlife! Saw a few parrots during our stops! Highly recommend for anyone!

Amazing day discovering parts of Puerto Rico we would never have seen without the guidance of Skip! My mother, sister and I had a great time. Skip is very knowledgeable about the territory and had lots of great information that not only made this day special, but will impact the rest of our trip and visits in the future! Where to start!! First being a solo traveler I feel like I’m always over paying to do trips but I love the reasonable prices they offer and bonus free lunch!! The tours are customized to your needs and they listen to you!! It’s like hanging out with best friends but who are super cool and know sooo much information!! Every-time I visit I plan on booking this great tour company and great guides.
