Private Naturalist Guided Tours

The highlight of our trip was our tour with Skip! We learned so many new facts about El Yunque, swam beneath a waterfall, saw tons of animals and enjoyed a local meal. All without worrying about crowds and being one of many in a group. Our tour was completely tailored to us which you can’t really find anywhere else. Skip was great with kids and extremely accommodating to our last minute adjustment in people. He also takes great pictures too! If we ever find ourselves back in Puerto Rico, we will be booking Skip again!

This was one of the best trips we have ever taken while on vacation. Skip was a wealth of knowledge, and very engaging. We could not have asked for a better trip to the rainforest.

We had such a great time with Skip at El Yunque today. We saw and learned a lot, got to see so much in uncrowded areas of such a beautiful place. Lunch was amazing and we got to feel like we saw so much of the island. Skip is absolutely great and kept my 8 and 11 year old engaged and intrigued. Thank you for a wonderful day!

Skip was an incredible tour guide! I gave him an idea of what we were looking for and surely delivered. We toured the rainforest one day, and did a food and culture tour the next. He even sent us off on an adventures snorkeling evening. I absolutely LOVED the rain forest. But the next day, Skip went above and beyond. We made random stops, we turned around when he saw a local vendor he knew I’d want to check out. It was incredible. Good food, good snacks, good juices, good frozen snacks. Thank you Skip for such a great time. We were blow away with your knowledge, ability to answer all of our questions, the laughs, the random conversations.

Had a beach tour with Skip & it was awesome! Decided not to get a rental car since I traveled solo. Skip showed me some beautiful beaches including a black sand beach! We found coral and lots of sea glass! He is very knowledgeable about the island and the wildlife! Saw a few parrots during our stops! Highly recommend for anyone!

We had a great tour with Skip - he is extremely knowledgeable and personable. He brought us to a waterfall to swim in, a private beach and had us try local foods. I would highly recommend spending time with him on a tour - you will not be disappointed!

Skip was an unbelievable tour guide...a huge wealth of knowledge for my two very curious boys with lots of questions. He really knows about every plant, animal, thing in Puerto Rico. He is also super funny and kind and had wonderful recommendations. We saw beautiful waterfalls and hidden swimming holes we never would have found ourselves. This is all without even mentioning the gorgeous photos he took of our family at all stops - professional quality and a huge bonus. Plus we enjoyed a delicious local lunch together. My boyfriend and I booked Skip for a 5 hour tour to El Yunque. Skip was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. Friendly and fun. Went above and beyond to make our experience everything we wanted it to be. And we didn’t expect to have him be our personal photographer for the trip, but that was an added amazing bonus ! 100% recommend!! If you’re looking for flexible, down to earth, extremely informative tour guides then look no further! These two did an amazing job of helping us identify birds and find an unreal amount of sea glass! They introduced us to local and delicious food and made our experience one to remember forever! We can’t thank them enough and absolutely recommend them to anyone looking! Can’t wait to visit the island again and book another tour!

What can I say? We had a blast with skip. So much information about the island, it’s history and culture. We designed our trip to fit the needs of my seven year old and 63 year old mother. Skip took tons of pictures, guided us through el yunque rainforest, lunch at a delicious outdoor restaurant and lastly a beach where my family could swim. At the end of the day my daughter said skip was her friend and she can’t wait to show him her seashells she found on the beach.

Skip was excellent! He knows a lot of cool information about the plants and wildlife on the island. He was very prompt in meeting us and responding to any questions we had. Amazing experience, totally catered to our wants! Thank you! ❤️

Skip was wonderful! Although it rained for the majority of our tour he still found a way to make it not only bearable but enjoyable. We had two little ones (4 and 9) who remained engaged throughout the entire 5 hours. Well worth the money. He’s good company and is clearly very passionate about all things nature. Highly recommend. We had an amazing tour through the rainforest! Skip is a wonderful guide and taught us so much and we even got to swim in a waterfall. Highly recommend booking a tour with him!!!

Our first time to Puerto Rico and spending the first day with Skip was the perfect way to start our vacation. Coffee and a bakery to start the day and then up the mountains we went. Skip stopped here and there to point out little details and share his vast knowledge. During our hike he pointed out birds, and talked in-depth about the flora of the island. We are plant nerds so this was great! He shared science and folklore. It is evident Skip has a passion for nature and sharing it with others comes natural. I would 100% recommend spending the day with Skip whether this be your first time to the island or your tenth.
