Private Naturalist Guided Tours

We went with skip on 2 SPICYYY excursions. We went on a hike to a hidden beach with the cave of swallows and got to see a blowhole. Also a 3 hour hike into el yunque rainforest. Very knowledgeable and great with the kids!

Very nice and knowledgeable when it comes to Puerto Rico life/wildlife! Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to go on a tour with.

We didn't worry about a thing. Skip toured us around, explained what things were, gave us history of the island. Showed us all sorts of vegetation, birds, bugs, slugs and lizards that we never would have even seen. He even found me some local food that accommodated my food allergy.

Skip was excellent! He knows a lot of cool information about the plants and wildlife on the island. He was very prompt in meeting us and responding to any questions we had. Amazing experience, totally catered to our wants! Thank you! ❤️

These two did an amazing job of helping us identify birds and find an unreal amount of sea glass! They introduced us to local and delicious food and made our experience one to remember forever! Skip was an incredible tour guide! I gave him an idea of what we were looking for and surely delivered. We toured the rainforest one day, and did a food and culture tour the next. He even sent us off on an adventures snorkeling evening. I absolutely LOVED the rain forest. But the next day, Skip went above and beyond. We made random stops, we turned around when he saw a local vendor he knew I’d want to check out. It was incredible. Good food, good snacks, good juices, good frozen snacks. Thank you Skip for such a great time. We were blow away with your knowledge, ability to answer all of our questions, the laughs, the random conversations.

The highlight of our trip was our tour with Skip! We learned so many new facts about El Yunque, swam beneath a waterfall, saw tons of animals and enjoyed a local meal. All without worrying about crowds and being one of many in a group. Our tour was completely tailored to us which you can’t really find anywhere else. Skip was great with kids and extremely accommodating to our last minute adjustment in people. He also takes great pictures too! If we ever find ourselves back in Puerto Rico, we will be booking Skip again!

We were so glad that we spent the day with Skip in El Yunque! He shares great info and points out things we would have missed on our own. We had a fun time and felt safe swimming in a natural pool. He made it possible for everyone (ages 10-80) to participate and enjoy. Lunch was delicious and with his help we tried new foods & drinks. Thank you Skip!

Skip did an amazing job guiding us for two days of searching for endemic birds. My wife and I found many birds including 8 new species to add to our list. Skip is incredibly knowledgeable about the island and many other subjects besides birds. I highly recommend Skip for any tour you wish to do in Puerto Rico.

We had a fantastic time with Skip on the rainforest tour. He is very knowledgeable of local history, plants, and animals. We visited a coffee plantation, waterfalls, black sand beach and ate local Puerto Rican food that even I could eat with multiple food allergies. Skip was fun and a great host. Highly recommend!

My husband and I recently celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary in Puerto Rico. Skip was our personal tour guide for 3 days straight for all of our excursions and sightseeing. Amazing day discovering parts of Puerto Rico we would never have seen without the guidance of Skip! My mother, sister and I had a great time. Skip is very knowledgeable about the territory and had lots of great information that not only made this day special, but will impact the rest of our trip and visits in the future!
