Private Naturalist Guided Tours

We did 2 tour days with Skip. He was knowledgeable, outgoing and fun, and even got my 14 yr old to say “Oh, that’s cool.” We would definitely recommend him for your tour needs. It was especially helpful during these COVID restrictions.

This was one of the best trips we have ever taken while on vacation. Skip was a wealth of knowledge, and very engaging. We could not have asked for a better trip to the rainforest.

Skip was an incredible tour guide! I gave him an idea of what we were looking for and surely delivered. We toured the rainforest one day, and did a food and culture tour the next. He even sent us off on an adventures snorkeling evening. I absolutely LOVED the rain forest. But the next day, Skip went above and beyond. We made random stops, we turned around when he saw a local vendor he knew I’d want to check out. It was incredible. Good food, good snacks, good juices, good frozen snacks. Thank you Skip for such a great time. We were blow away with your knowledge, ability to answer all of our questions, the laughs, the random conversations.

Where to start!! First being a solo traveler I feel like I’m always over paying to do trips but I love the reasonable prices they offer and bonus free lunch!! The tours are customized to your needs and they listen to you!! It’s like hanging out with best friends but who are super cool and know sooo much information!! Every-time I visit I plan on booking this great tour company and great guides.

My husband and I had a great time on our tour with Skip. I messaged to ask if we could stop for coffee on the way out of San Juan and he took us to an amazing coffee farm out of the city. Skip is very knowledgeable about the rich ecosystems of Puerto Rico and we learned a lot while enjoying the awesome scenery. Also really enjoyed the lechon lunch. It was an unforgettable day made possible by Leila and Skip!

Skip took my husband and I on a private tour through a side of El Yunque that is not as touristy and it was delightful! He was knowledgeable about the local wildlife, plants and culture but in a friendly conversational way. He provided binoculars and water and a sweet local snack. We swam in a secluded swimming hole and there was a swing for a prefect picture. Which we didn't have to take because he took them for us so we could enjoy the scenery. He suggested areas to visit and a restaurant nearby. After we followed him to lunch. His treat! We spent the rest of our day taking his advice on activities and it was perfect. Highly recommend. Absolutely worth the money.

Skip was an unbelievable tour guide...a huge wealth of knowledge for my two very curious boys with lots of questions. He really knows about every plant, animal, thing in Puerto Rico. He is also super funny and kind and had wonderful recommendations. We saw beautiful waterfalls and hidden swimming holes we never would have found ourselves. This is all without even mentioning the gorgeous photos he took of our family at all stops - professional quality and a huge bonus. Plus we enjoyed a delicious local lunch together. This private, individualized tour was top notch and made our whole trip. We cannot wait to recommend Skip to friends visiting PR. Thank you!! 💕

We were so glad that we spent the day with Skip in El Yunque! He shares great info and points out things we would have missed on our own. We had a fun time and felt safe swimming in a natural pool. He made it possible for everyone (ages 10-80) to participate and enjoy. Lunch was delicious and with his help we tried new foods & drinks. Thank you Skip!

Skip was super helpful and would recommend to anyone! Their tours are educational and unique. Really enjoyed the beach clean up. If you’re in PR check them out! They will go above and beyond.

Had the best time with Skip! He was highly suggested in a Puerto Rico travel group. It was amazing for my husband and I to have a private tour off the beaten path. Learned so much about the rainforest and it was like we had our own personal photographer!! The pictures were one of the best parts!! Skip even took us to a beautiful secluded beach where we found tons of sea glass! Will definitely do another tour on our next trip!

My boyfriend and I booked Skip for a 5 hour tour to El Yunque. Skip was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. Friendly and fun. Went above and beyond to make our experience everything we wanted it to be. And we didn’t expect to have him be our personal photographer for the trip, but that was an added amazing bonus ! Our first time to Puerto Rico and spending the first day with Skip was the perfect way to start our vacation. Coffee and a bakery to start the day and then up the mountains we went. Skip stopped here and there to point out little details and share his vast knowledge. During our hike he pointed out birds, and talked in-depth about the flora of the island. We are plant nerds so this was great! He shared science and folklore. It is evident Skip has a passion for nature and sharing it with others comes natural. I would 100% recommend spending the day with Skip whether this be your first time to the island or your tenth.

Skip is the man!! We saw so many beautiful animals and plants!!! I cannot recommend him enough!! He is so knowledgeable and has such an appreciation of all things Puerto Rico!!! His knowledge for the history and culture is top notch! If you want to have a great tour of the rainforest you would be foolish to book with anyone else!!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ five stars!!
