Skip took my husband and I on a private tour through a side of El Yunque that is not as touristy and it was delightful! He was knowledgeable about the local wildlife, plants and culture but in a friendly conversational way. He provided binoculars and water and a sweet local snack. We swam in a secluded swimming hole and there was a swing for a prefect picture. Which we didn't have to take because he took them for us so we could enjoy the scenery. He suggested areas to visit and a restaurant nearby. After we followed him to lunch. His treat! We spent the rest of our day taking his advice on activities and it was perfect. Highly recommend. Absolutely worth the money.

Had a beach tour with Skip & it was awesome! Decided not to get a rental car since I traveled solo. Skip showed me some beautiful beaches including a black sand beach! We found coral and lots of sea glass! He is very knowledgeable about the island and the wildlife! Saw a few parrots during our stops! Highly recommend for anyone!

The highlight of our trip was our tour with Skip! We learned so many new facts about El Yunque, swam beneath a waterfall, saw tons of animals and enjoyed a local meal. All without worrying about crowds and being one of many in a group. Our tour was completely tailored to us which you can’t really find anywhere else. Skip was great with kids and extremely accommodating to our last minute adjustment in people. He also takes great pictures too! If we ever find ourselves back in Puerto Rico, we will be booking Skip again!

Skip did an amazing job guiding us for two days of searching for endemic birds. My wife and I found many birds including 8 new species to add to our list. Our tour was AMAZING! My boys 17&13 absolutely loved It and our guide Skip! We had an incredible day of exploring the entire mountain. Waterfalls, the pools to swim in and we learned so much about birds and the different flowers here! We stopped at a true local place for lunch! He took the Best pictures of our entire tour and sends them to you. If you’re looking for a medium walking tour that isn’t going to exhaust you- this is it! Highly highly recommend! ✅

Our first time to Puerto Rico and spending the first day with Skip was the perfect way to start our vacation. Coffee and a bakery to start the day and then up the mountains we went. Skip stopped here and there to point out little details and share his vast knowledge. During our hike he pointed out birds, and talked in-depth about the flora of the island. We are plant nerds so this was great! He shared science and folklore. It is evident Skip has a passion for nature and sharing it with others comes natural. I would 100% recommend spending the day with Skip whether this be your first time to the island or your tenth.

Amazing day discovering parts of Puerto Rico we would never have seen without the guidance of Skip! My mother, sister and I had a great time. Skip is very knowledgeable about the territory and had lots of great information that not only made this day special, but will impact the rest of our trip and visits in the future! We really enjoy our custom tour with Skip! He was very friendly and inviting as soon as we met him. He took us for a tour into the rainforest and explained everything we were seeing. We got to swim in a refreshing water hole then he took us out to eat lunch and then to a beach where he taught us how to look for sea glass! He also took several photos of us so we could have memories of our time! We had a blast and we highly recommend Come visit Puerto Rico! They will accommodate to anything you would like!
