Private Naturalist Guided Tours

Skip took my husband and I on a private tour through a side of El Yunque that is not as touristy and it was delightful! He was knowledgeable about the local wildlife, plants and culture but in a friendly conversational way. He provided binoculars and water and a sweet local snack. We swam in a secluded swimming hole and there was a swing for a prefect picture. Which we didn't have to take because he took them for us so we could enjoy the scenery. He suggested areas to visit and a restaurant nearby. After we followed him to lunch. His treat! We spent the rest of our day taking his advice on activities and it was perfect. Highly recommend. Absolutely worth the money.

Skip was an incredible tour guide! I gave him an idea of what we were looking for and surely delivered. We toured the rainforest one day, and did a food and culture tour the next. He even sent us off on an adventures snorkeling evening. I absolutely LOVED the rain forest. But the next day, Skip went above and beyond. We made random stops, we turned around when he saw a local vendor he knew I’d want to check out. It was incredible. Good food, good snacks, good juices, good frozen snacks. Thank you Skip for such a great time. We were blow away with your knowledge, ability to answer all of our questions, the laughs, the random conversations.

We had a great tour with Skip - he is extremely knowledgeable and personable. He brought us to a waterfall to swim in, a private beach and had us try local foods. I would highly recommend spending time with him on a tour - you will not be disappointed!

Skip is the man!! We saw so many beautiful animals and plants!!! I cannot recommend him enough!! He is so knowledgeable and has such an appreciation of all things Puerto Rico!!! Highly recommend booking a tour or two with Skip on your Puerto Rico vacation. We were extremely happy with the two tours we booked with him. My husband and I had a great time on our tour with Skip. I messaged to ask if we could stop for coffee on the way out of San Juan and he took us to an amazing coffee farm out of the city. Skip is very knowledgeable about the rich ecosystems of Puerto Rico and we learned a lot while enjoying the awesome scenery. Also really enjoyed the lechon lunch. My boyfriend and I booked Skip for a 5 hour tour to El Yunque. Skip was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. Friendly and fun. Went above and beyond to make our experience everything we wanted it to be. And we didn’t expect to have him be our personal photographer for the trip, but that was an added amazing bonus ! We had a fantastic time with Skip on the rainforest tour. He is very knowledgeable of local history, plants, and animals. We visited a coffee plantation, waterfalls, black sand beach and ate local Puerto Rican food that even I could eat with multiple food allergies. Skip was fun and a great host. Highly recommend!

Our first time to Puerto Rico and spending the first day with Skip was the perfect way to start our vacation. Coffee and a bakery to start the day and then up the mountains we went. Skip stopped here and there to point out little details and share his vast knowledge. During our hike he pointed out birds, and talked in-depth about the flora of the island. We are plant nerds so this was great! He shared science and folklore. It is evident Skip has a passion for nature and sharing it with others comes natural. I would 100% recommend spending the day with Skip whether this be your first time to the island or your tenth.

Where to start!! First being a solo traveler I feel like I’m always over paying to do trips but I love the reasonable prices they offer and bonus free lunch!! The tours are customized to your needs and they listen to you!! It’s like hanging out with best friends but who are super cool and know sooo much information!! Every-time I visit I plan on booking this great tour company and great guides.
